Eclypses recently announced their continued partnership with Archethought, a smart technology company focused on environment sensing while reducing urban noise pollution, also changing the dynamic of community noise complaints through real-time sound monitoring.
Archethought was one of Eclypses’ first clients to utilize the MTE Connect toolkit to deliver security for their widely dispersed endpoints for their IoT environments. Archethought will now implement Eclypses MTE Mobile and MTE Web toolkits, a FIPS 140-3 validated technology, into their platforms to ensure their customer’s data is secure.
Dixon Dick, CEO of Archethought comments, “XX.”
Archethought will utilize Eclypses MTE Mobile toolkit for their IRMA (I Reveal My Attribute) mobile application, which allows users to take control over their personal data and how that information is shared. The user of this application can store personal information and grant temporary access to external parties they authorize. Archethought will work with the City of Longmont, Colorado to allow bars in the downtown area to utilize this mobile app for ensuring their patrons are over the age of 21. This keeps the patron’s information (address, birthday, etc.) private and minimizes their exposure to unwanted data leakage.
Archethought will then expand this mobile application to include securing insurance information for traffic stops and accidents and medical information. This will allow users to be in control of their medical records and only grant temporary access to medical professionals that need information at that time. This is a safer alternative than having medical records replicated at every doctor’s office you visit and not knowing where that data lives and how it is used. Archethought will also utilize Eclypses MTE Web toolkit to protect user information through their opt-in program on their website for creating accounts and linking their devices to be used in the community.
Bryan Champagne, CEO of Eclypses comments, “The Archethought team has been wonderful to work with over the years, as they were one of the first companies to implement our MTE Connect toolkit. We are excited that Archethought will be the first client to utilize our MTE technology with our recent FIPS 140-3 validation. We are thrilled to know they will be adding Eclypses MTE Mobile and MTE Web toolkits into their platforms to provide their customers a safe environment to secure personal information.”
